PARTY HOSTS
Job Duties:

Organizing and facilitating games and activities for parties

Works with the lifeguard to ensure all children are safe

Presents a professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service

Acts as a Ripples “ambassador” to ensure parental satisfaction
-
Uses problem solving/creative thinking skills to identify and resolve problems
-
Reports accidents and incidents directly to Lifeguard on duty
-
Additional duties may be assigned
Requirements:
-
Must be at least 16 years old
-
Some college preferred
-
Two years previous customer service and/or administrative office experience preferred
-
Upbeat and fun personality
-
CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred
SWIM INSTRUCTORS
Job Duties:
-
Provides swim instruction based on our curriculum.
-
Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Makes rescues and administers first aid when necessary.
-
Evaluates students’ progress. Completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
-
Interacts with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students’ swim skills.
-
Acts as a Ripples “ambassador” to ensure parental satisfaction.
-
Uses problem solving/creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that students encounter.
-
Inspects
pool areas before and after each class for possible maintenance,
cleanliness or damage issues. Reports issues to management as
appropriate.
-
Maintains and ensures proper storage of all pool equipment. Places and removes lane lines.
-
Reports accidents and incidents to management. Completes required documentation and paperwork.
-
Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service.
-
Performs light cleaning duties such as window washing, deck mopping, trash removal etc.
-
Occasionally required to attend in-service training outside of regular working hours.
-
Additional duties may be assigned.

Participates in training/in-service as required.
Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years old
-
High school diploma or GED preferred
-
Two or more years as a swimming instructor preferred
-
Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, and/or child care provider preferred
-
CPR/First Aid/AED certification required certification required
-
Lifeguard certification highly recommended
RECEPTIONISTS
Job Duties:
-
Answers telephones, responds to inquiries, takes messages and screens and directs phone calls in a professional manner.
-
Processes student registrations using effective sales/customer service techniques.
-
Schedules and manages pool parties. Supervises party staff.
-
Resolves customer concerns/complaints using a professional approach.
-
Assists clients with purchases of merchandise and vending.
-
Greets
parents and students as they report to the front desk. Maintains
cleanliness of the front desk area, changing areas, restrooms, and
observation area.
-
Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service.
-
Checks voicemail and email correspondence and responds in a timely manner.
-
Updates informational displays with accurate and timely promotions and literature.
-
Provides occasional administrative support for management personnel.
-
Makes collection calls to resolve open account problems.
-
Additional duties may be assigned.

Participates in training/in-service as required.
Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years old

Some college preferred

Two years previous customer service and/or administrative office experience preferred

Intermediate level computer skills required using Word, Excel and other software systems.

LIFEGUARDS
Job Duties:
-
Maintains
constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and
appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of an accident or
emergency.
-
Communicate the rules of the facility to patrons fairly and consistently.
-
Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
-
Ensures that medical services (EMS or other) are contacted by most appropriate means when necessary to respond to an emergency.
-
Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service.
-
Completes accident/incident reports as necessary.
-
Maintains and clean and safe facility as directed/assigned.
-
Assists with closing and securing the facility.
-
Additional duties may be assigned.
-
Participates in training/in-service as required.
Requirements:
-
Must be at least 16 years old
-
Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required and must be maintained current.
-
Prefer six months experience or more as a lifeguard at an aquatic facility or camp.
-
Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, and/or child care provider required.
DECKHANDS
Job Duties:
- Organize all children prior to their swim lesson starting.
- Coordinate with and support Swim Instructors so they can focus on teaching their swim lessons.
- Keep the pool deck organized and free of clutter.
- Ensure a safe pool room environment.
- Keep watch over all children in pool and on pool deck.
- Reports accidents and incidents directly to Manager on duty.
- Additional duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Some college preferred
- Two years previous customer service and/or administrative office experience preferred
- Upbeat and fun personality
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred
